“Just to say how much we all enjoyed the concert last evening. It was varied, exciting, covered a span of centuries, and provided a superb showcase for the talents of this trio of young people. Sterling by name, and sterling in performance! The contrasts between the pieces allowed each of the soloists to have their turn at being the 'solo' performer, but the unusual combination of instruments was shown to particularly good effect in the Pavane and Galliard from the 17th Century, and the Carmen Fantasy arranged by Webster.
